IN BRIEF: BAUSCH & LOMB INC.

Bausch & Lomb Inc. received Food and Drug Administration approval to sell brimonide tartrate, a generic version of Allergan Inc.'s proprietary pharmaceutical drug, Alphagan. Bausch & Lomb, which was granted generic marketing exclusivity for the glaucoma treatment until Sept. 20, said the new version will be available immediately.
