Drug Safety Institute Managing Director of Canadian Regulatory Affairs – Ottawa-based or opportunity to work from home

Brand Institute's regulatory subsidiary, Drug Safety Institute (DSI), is expanding its global regulatory team by hiring a Managing Director of Canadian Regulatory Affairs. DSI is seeking an experienced Evaluator of Pharmaceutical and Biologics prescription Brand Name approvals for with Health Canada experience.

This individual will provide strategy and direction to our clients regarding Canadian brand name submission, acting as a resource and consultant for Health Canada protocols. They will be supported by a staff of pharmaceutical and marketing professionals at Brand Institute/DSI’s Miami Corporate Headquarters. Strategic consults with clients may include topics pertaining to prescription name safety research and submission, name development/strategy, risk management, labeling, packaging, and general regulatory or technical inquiries pertaining to the pharmaceutical brand naming industry.

The Managing Director will report directly to Drug Safety Institute’s President and CEO and will have the opportunity to represent DSI at Health Canada Public Forums as needed.

This individual must have worked for Health Canada in the past 4 years in a role pertaining to pharmaceutical brand name submission protocol and MUST be well-versed in the most recent 2014 Guidance Document for Industry - Review of Drug Brand Names.
